Personal data provided during registration for the Corrosion2019 conference is necessary for registration and participation in the Corrosion2019 International Conference and will be processed for purposes related to the organization and operation of the conference entitled: Corrosion2019. Providing personal data is voluntary. At the same time, failure to provide the required/obligatory data will prevent you from participating in the conference.
You have the right to access your personal data as well as the right to rectify, delete, transfer, restrict processing, and object to the processing of the data.
Access to your personal data may be granted to companies to which the Warsaw University of Technology commissions certain activities that involve the processing of personal data, in particular to:
- Editorial Offices of magazines (Corrosion Engineering Science and Technology, Archives of Metallurgy and Materials, Materials Engineering, Corrosion Protection) in which the paper submitted by the Participant will be published (concerns only those Participants who, during registration, submitted their intention to publish their article).
- Active.Office, as we use a program to send marketing e-mails to keep participants up-to-date. The data processing method employed by Active.Office is available at: https://pomoc.nazwa.pl/pomoc/konfiguracja/polityka-prywatnosci/ ,
Data (name, surname, affiliation, article title - if the article has been submitted) will also be made available:
- on the website of the Conference for the purpose of presenting articles and the conference agenda,
- to Conference participants who possess information materials about the conference (printed Book of Abstracts, pendrive with conference materials - Book of Abstracts, advertising materials of companies supporting the conference).
Your data will be processed by the Warsaw University of Technology until you withdraw your consent to the processing. The purpose of processing your data is to enable the Warsaw University of Technology to provide you with an offer of the University concerning the scope of scientific events being organised (seminars, conferences).
Your consent to the processing of personal data may be revoked at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing which was carried out on the basis of the consent prior to its revocation.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
